I wonder if we are going to look back in a few years’ time and scratch our collective heads at the whole D.C. Morrison thing. I mean, the man was and remains in no way, shape, or form a Democrat. As if we needed any more proof of this, Morrison has endorse Beth Anne Rankin over Mike Ross in AR-04.
LITTLE ROCK – Former Democratic Senate hopeful D.C. Morrison is backing Republican Beth Anne Rankin’s bid for a southern Arkansas congressional seat.
Rankin’s campaign on Monday announced that Morrison had endorsed her bid against Democratic congressman Mike Ross in the 4th Congressional District. Morrison, a Little Rock businessman, ran for the Democratic Senate nomination and forced a runoff between Sen. Blanche Lincoln and Lt. Gov. Bill Halter.

Partisan politics aside, I think we can all agree to this: if you are so conservative that you won’t even endorse Blue Dog posterchild Mike Ross, then the fact that you were allowed to run as a Democrat and influence a U.S. Senate race is ridiculous.
