Following yesterday’s noon cut-off for such filings, Arkansas Secretary of State Charlie Daniels issued a press release naming the ten people who submitted nominating petitions to run in the general election, including three who wish to run in the AR-01, AR-02, and AR-Sen races.
They are, respectively Richard Walden of Jonesboro, AR; Lance Levi of Little Rock, AR; and Trevor Drown of Russellville, AR. The secretary of state’s office will verify that each candidate’s petition contains the required number of valid signatures before certifying each for the November 2 General Election ballot.
I fully admit to knowing nothing of any of these people, so I welcome any information from the campaigns or from other readers who may have insight.
